Field Liaison Officer

Location: Midlands (Birmingham), South (Milton Keynes)
Salary: £35,000
Closing Date: 23 June 2023
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday
Reports to: Installations and QC Manager

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As Site Liaison Officer, you will be our key contact between Site Managers on new build housing developments and our back office, carrying out all field based activities.

You will coordinate your weekly visits to cover all new build housing developments that Eco2Solar are installing solar PV systems to, in order to build relationships with Site Managers and be their first point of contact for any Site related issues.

This role requires excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage and organise your time. You will be an excellent communicator with the confidence to hold constructive meetings with Site Managers on Construction Sites and deal with any questions or issues they may have.

As a result, the role will require a large volume of travelling – with set areas to be agreed.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Organise and attend all new contract (pre start) meetings with Site Managers on construction sites
+ Visit all sites on a rolling basis to retrieve build programme/forecasting information to provide visibility of labour and capacity requirements for the next 3 months
+ Carry out technical pre-installation surveys for complex installations
+ Audit and quality control installations by spot checking all teams to maintain quality and best practise, auditing levels must be maintained.
+ Respond to site manager requests (drop ins, remedial requests, visits, demonstrations)

About you

Proven experience of working in a field based role
+ Full driving licence
+ Computer literate (MS Applications)
+ CSCS / SMSTS card holder
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Organising own workload and methodical approach
+ Excellent time management skills
+ Confident and great communication skills
+ Ability to follow technical drawings, follow templates for surveys
+ Excellent written and oral communication
+ Full driving licence
+ Good organisation skills
