The Challenge
Having successfully installed over 2,000 plots for Barratt Homes over the past 5 years, Eco2Solar Ltd won the Group Preferred Supplier agreement contract in 2016.
As a result of successful delivery on site, zero health and safety instances and over 8,000 PV panels installed around the country, Eco2Solar Ltd were awarded the contract to install PV systems to over 290 houses for Barratt/David Wilson Homes in Maple Park, Essex.

The Solution
In order to provide an attractive solution, all black, roof integrated PV panels were installed which replace the roof tiles.
With a fully accredited mounting system that has passed the same tests (wind, fire and rain) as the tiles being replaced, the systems were easily coordinated on site, with the majority being installed within 1 hour, leaving the roofing contractor to complete the roof as normal with no delay or disruption to the build programme.
