Project Leader

Location: Kidderminster
The Project Leader is office based and acts as the conduit for all non-standard projects.
You will manage the interface between the client and production, design and sales on complex/non-standard projects and will be the first point of contact for customers on these projects.
The Project Leader works cross functionally with sales, design and production on non-standard projects to ensure that the Field Sales Team have no reason to get involved in project related tasks.
The Project Leader works with the Sales Team from original enquiry and orchestrates all activities that need to be completed for the successful installation of a complex/non-standard project. This includes capturing all potential additional costs at quote stage including plant, material and additional handling costs.
Non-standard projects would include any of the following buildings that are being quoted, designed, scheduled and installed by the company:
+ Commercial buildings/apartments
+ Flat roofs
+ Smart roofs
+ Cottage flats
+ Bespoke fixing systems
+ Battery storage installations
+ Any installation that is not an in-roof system with inverter in the loft.

Measured Outcomes:
These will be the measured and expected outcomes to accomplish:
+ On time and on budget delivery of all non-standard projects.
Competencies:
+ Takes responsibility for requirement discovery, solution design and seeing multiple projects through to successful completion.
+ To collaborate with colleagues within sales, field specialists, technical, design and production departments to ensure all non-standard projects are accurately costed, designed, scheduled and installed to a successful handover.
+ Liaising with production team to manage installation of non-standard projects, providing at least two weeks’ notice.
+ Allocating field specialists tasks to measure and survey projects prior to installation.
