A solar PV array covers the whole of one roof with fourteen Sanyo hybrid modules \u2013 creating a 3.36kWp system. This will generate around 2,750kWh\u2019s per annum \u2013 equating to \u00a31,136 worth of Feed in Tariff payments (each unit generated is paid 41.3p regardless of whether it is used or not!) A solar thermal system was also installed to provide a free supply of hot water. The picture shows a pump station and expansion vessel linked to the collectors on the roof (background).
