Solar PV: Speller Metcalfe, Leicestershire

In May 2012, Eco2Solar installed an impressive 5.85kWp solar PV system on Speller Metcalfe’s recent fast track utilities depot renovation. The solar system encompasses thirty Phono Solar 195 Mono/-24F 195watt modules, with two SMA Sunnyboy SB3000HF inverters and is expected to produce 4,273kWh of solar energy for the commercial building each year.

This renewable energy output will reduce the carbon footprint and fuel bills of the business, whilst providing them with over £717 in tax-free income annually from the Government-backed Feed-in Tariff initiative. Eco2Solar were delighted to be chosen to install the system, through a competitive tender process and hope that this will be the first step of a long working partnership with Speller Metcalfe.
