18.5kWp Solar PV System: Severn Trent Building, Shelton nr Shrewsbury
Severn Trent managed to beat the Feed in Tariff deadline when Eco2Solar installed this 18.5kWp solar panel system on their Shelton offices in early December 2011. The system consists of 100 Sharp NU185 solar panels driven by two Fronius IG PLUS 120 V-3 inverters, to produce an estimated 14,162kWh of energy for the building on an annual basis.
The system is installed on ‘A’ Frames on the flat roof of the new block and will avoid almost 9 tonnes of CO2 each year, an impressive environmental contribution!
