Part L: How housebuilders in England can achieve compliance

Register to join Eco2Solar’s webinar with E.on and AES Sustainability Consultants to find out how housing developers in England can comply with the new Part L of the Building Regulations.

Join the webinar to find out:

  • More about Part L and the challenges housebuilders face
  • How housebuilders can achieve Part L compliance
  • What needs to be done now to minimise the risks

What is Part L?

The upcoming Future Homes Standard, set to be implemented in 2025, will see the housebuilding industry take a giant leap towards helping the UK government meet its 2050 net zero target by shrinking carbon dioxide emissions in new build homes by 80%.

While 2025 still seems quite a way off, the government’s recently published changes to Part L of the Building Regulations (the conservation of fuel and power) will act as an interim measure to pave the way towards implementing the Future Homes Standard.

All housing developers in England must comply with the new regulations and should put steps in now to make sure the right procedures are in place before summer 2022
