Eco2Solar Team Spread Christmas Cheer with P3 Homeless Charity Donation

Everyone knows how hard Christmas can be, particularly for those who don’t have somewhere to stay; so over the Christmas period last year Eco2Solar wanted to do their bit to help those in need. We teamed up with Wolverhampton based Charity P3, on their Christmas pledge to help those who needed a warm place to stay over Christmas.

P3 are a national social inclusion and homelessness charity who have the vision to give people the practical skills and self-esteem that they need to sustain an independent and self-sufficient lifestyle, by providing opportunities and support that help vulnerable people move on from social exclusion to inclusion.

Over Christmas they sent out a plea to are ask local businesses to support them by collecting items, such as food and toiletries to provide those in need with items which are essential to their residents’ survival. After reading what was needed to help those at P3 the team here at Eco2Solar got collecting.

After four weeks, the Eco2Solar team had collected almost three boxes full of items for P3, so we made the trip to Wolverhampton to donate these to the hostel. Upon arrival we were introduced to the team and residents of the hostel, followed by a tour of the facilities and an explanation of what P3 are all about. It was a lovely afternoon for us at Eco2Solar, as we were given the opportunity to see exactly who our donations were helping and also what we could do to help P3 in the future. The P3 staff and residents were very welcoming and grateful for the donations which we have made, and we would love to see what Eco2Solar could do to help them in the future, just watch this space!
