About Us

Eco2Solar is a family run Midlands company providing professional, cost-effective renewable energy installations that significantly reduce the fuel bills and carbon footprints, of businesses, organisations and individuals – as well as enabling these groups and individuals to take advantage of the fantastic government incentives available – the Feed In Tariffs and Renewable Heat Incentive.

Founder and Managing Director Paul Hutchens established Eco2Solar in 2007 to address the threat of climate change, by reducing CO2 emissions and fuel shortages through the application of solar energy. These days – following the introduction of great incentives such as the Feed In Tariffs – our clients are generally more interested in making money from their solar energy system!

Eco2Solar has grown rapidly since 2007, expanding to become a significant Worcestershire based employer of over 35 people in a little over 4 years. As passionate solar power enthusiasts, Eco2Solar fully believe in our technology’s financial and environmental benefits. And as an experienced, expert and professionally run family business, we pride ourselves on delivering on time, on budget- every time.

Eco2Solar Ltd is located here in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.

From our Midlands base, we offer renewable energy consultancy and provide solar energy and heat pump systems across the region and beyond, helping our customers safeguard the environment, reduce their fuel bills and make a great return from the Feed in Tariffs.

Who we work with

Eco2Solar is equally skilled at delivering solar energy solutions in domestic homes, social housing and commercial buildings. These projects are all different, and can include everything from providing electricity, heating, hot water or heating swimming pools with solar panels

Why we only use our own solar installation experts

After we’ve agreed with you the best renewable energy solution for your needs, we’ll move on to the installation.

To ensure that you get the most effective solar or heat pump system possible, Eco2Solar only use our own fully trained solar installers. Each installer is accredited to the BPEC or LOGIK standard in solar PV or thermal systems or is a qualified and experienced roofer. So when it comes to having your system fitted, you get expert trades people you can trust (You can read more about the team here).

Giving you the latest in solar technology

Eco2Solar know that the better the technology we use, the greater the energy savings you make. That’s why we only install the highest quality solar power equipment from industry-leading manufacturers Suntech, Sharp, Sanyo, SMA Sunnyboy, Strebel, Kingspan, Telford Cylinders and Seconsolar (Resol). In addition to this we install air source heat pumps from Mitsubishi Ecodan and ground source heat pumps from Worcester Bosch.
